I think I'm good at sewing. I average a project a year. And there's usually a real purpose why I'm sewing something.
Today, I got tired of waking the baby up when trying to leave her room when she was asleep. So I pulled out some fabric I had and made a door muffler.

My baby's 11 Months Old!
When did this happen?
Our baby girl is 11 months old and now the countdown has begun on planning her birthday party.
Here's the latest on Ally:
Ally's walking! Yes. The day she turned 11 months old, she took her first step at a friend's house then later on for her Dad. Everyday she takes a few steps here and there and we are certain that she'll be walking by her 1st birthday.
Tooth number 4. Ally started a little later than "usual" to put out some teeth. I miss her gummy smile but her snagga-toothed mouth is so much cuter! :) She's pushing out her fourth one and the little girl swears that she can eat any and everything. She gives cute little kisses and the occasional bites with her kisses. The bites hurt but I'll endure it if I can get a kiss from my sweetheart.
Miss Sassy. Allyson already has attitude. It's like a mini me. She understands the word no...doesn't mean she likes it but she understands in and reluctantly stops what she's doing. Lol She' s also all smiles and brightens up my day.
Waving bye-bye and giving high-5's. She's becoming more interactive with the what's going on around her.
Well...that's it for now.
Until next time...

Hotrackin'
The term "hotracking" is a Navy term meaning when one person gets out of their bed (or rack) another person gets in to sleep. This is meainly done in submarines because of limited space.
Well...that's been the life in the Flores faming the past few days! Poor Frank has to work in the day then pull an over nighter doing installs for a retailing chain and he has to work overnight because it's not so busy during that time. I'm so grateful for what he does to provide for his family but the sellfish part of me wishes he was home at night. I miss feeling him next to me in the bed or fighting over the comforter. Lol

What We Believe
Frank, Allyson and I are all members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (aka Mormon). You may ask "How did they become Mormon?" Well...it all began in Dec of 1998...
I lived back in New York with my family and my mom wanted to teach is the true meaning of Christmas. So she sees a commercial on tv about a movie from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and my mom shrugged it off and changed the channel. And it was on AGAIN! She changes the channel to a Spanish-speaking channel...and it was the SAME COMMERCIAL but in Spanish! Haha. Mom said "What the heck!" and called. She told them to "just the video in the mail and don't come over!" (Remember, we're from New York). The day they were coming to see us, my mom made my sister and I get our brother's dressed because we were "going out"...
Well...we talked to them for three hours straight and three months later, we were all baptized!
When Frank and I met in 2001 and I told him what I was (by then I was inactive because I joined the Navy and didn't go to church) and he said "Cool...you can't get me to join!" I tried so hard to get him to church. We would fight every Sunday and he wouldn't budge. Then it happened...
The Passion of The Christ came out! Frank wanted to see it so we went. And it changed him. Next thing you know, Frank asked to see the Missionaries! We've been so Blessed when we both decided to follow the gospel and apply it to out lives!
On Wednesday, October 26, 2011 (which was our 10th Wedding Anniversary), we were sealed in the Atlanta temple for time and all Eternity! And once Allyson was born, she was automatically born under the covenent!

Homework Assignment #1 down...3 more to go!
I must like torturing myself because I'm back in school...along with working...and being a full time Mom. Boy did I feel overwhelmed the first week!
But I'm happy to say that I've sucessfully completed homework 1-4 for the semester!
Here's a preview of what I had to do:
I know it doesn't look like it's a lot...but I'm not a fan of thinking. Lol Well back to work I go.
Until next time... ♥
